Dr. Susana B. Adamo is a research scientist at the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), a center with the Climate School at Columbia University, and is also co-coordinator of the internet-based Population-Environment Research Network (PERN). A social demographer with a regional focus on Latin America, Susana has worked extensively on environmental migration and displacement, social vulnerability and environmental change, and, more recently, on the nexus between migration, cities, and climate change.
