Lecturer, Global Health, School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS), University of Leeds. Research interested lies in understanding the dynamics of risks and impacts of climate change on health of vulnerable community. Linking underlying issues of inequalities in community adaptation and resilience. I have worked closely with policy makers in the past and keen to work on research-to-policy translational aspects. My primary focus is in South Asia but open to studying similar environment- population health interlinkages in other geographic regions across Africa, Middle East and Latin America.
