The Belmont Forum Hubs is a private networking website that provides an opportunity for members to interact with each other. Different Collaborative Research Actions (CRAs) have different main goals. Choose the relevant hub for your CRA. The page has a built-in social network that allows Members, Coordinators, Researchers, and Stakeholders to coordinate with each other, facilitate engagement and share opportunities.
Currently Oceans 2018, Migration 2022, and Climate and Cultural Heritage CRAs have hubs.
Belmont Forum Hubs membership are by invitation only.

About CCH Hub
The CCH Hub is designed to support the creation or consolidation of transnational research consortia that meet the CRA’s eligibility requirements. The Thematic Programme Office created this Hub to facilitate exchange and networking among researchers and interested parties.
On the CCH Hub, you can create a member profile, join groups, and participate in discussion forums to connect with others, share your interests, and collaborate on research projects.
To access the private interface, you will need to log in with your user credentials.

Account
To join the CCH Hub, you need to first create an account for the Belmont Forum Hub. You will receive an email invitation to join the Belmont Forum Hub. Follow the link provided in the email to create your account and establish your credentials.
After creating your account, you will receive another email with an activation link. Click on the link to activate your account.
After creating an account, go to https://hubs.belmontforum.org/ and click on “Sign in” in the top right corner, and enter the email and password you set up during the account creation process. Here you will see list of Hubs in Belmont Forum, you can select CCH Hub.
After signing in, you will create your member profile. You can join public groups or request to join other relevant private groups. You can can also subscribe to forums and reply to discussion you are interested in.
Upon logging in, you will be expected to populate your profile with a profile photo, cover photo, and other information. To edit your profile, log in, and select “Edit” under your name.
To update your profile photo, select “Profile Photo” under “Edit Profile.” You have the option to upload or take a photo. Alternatively, you can select “Change Profile Photo” on your personal page.
To update your cover photo, select “Cover Photo” under “Edit Profile.” You have the option to upload a photo. Alternatively, you can select “Change Cover Photo” on your personal page.
Connecting with and Following Other Users
Connections allow users to build relationships with one another through the network. You can connect with Members of Migration as well as cross CRA and follow other users.
To request a connection or follow another user, select “Members” at the top of the page and then “CCH Members.” The page will list all migration members categorized by their profile type. You can also see all Belmont Forum members by clicking on “Members” from the menu.
You can see your current connections and users you have chosen to follow on the tabs next to the “All Members” tab. Alternatively, you can go to “My Connection” on the side menu to see current connections.
Members can be filtered by user type and sorted by “Recently Active,” “Newest Members,” and “Alphabetically.”
Group
Groups are available for all profile types to join, allowing users to participate in discussions, access news feeds, view other members, and see new albums within the group
After logging in, you will automatically join the CCH Public Group. You can find other CCH Groups by going to “CCH Groups” under the “Groups” tab from the menu.
You can see all groups that Belmont Forum Hubs have, as well as groups you have joined, under “Groups” from the menu. You also have an option to create a group.
After Selecting “Group” from the Menu, click on “Create a Group” button To create a group. Provide the Group Name and Description, and click “Create Group and Continue.” Select the setting option from the list of settings, making sure to choose Group Type before proceeding to the next step. You can then upload a cover photo and invite members to the group.
To leave a group, click on the group you want to leave, hover over “Member” in the top right corner, and the button will change to “Leave group.” Select the button to leave the group.
Forum/ Discussions
To join a Discussion Forum, select “Discussion Forums” and navigate to “Migration Forums.” You can then subscribe to ongoing conversations and contribute to these discussions.
To subscribe to a conversation, click on the forum you would like to join and then select “Subscribe.”
To respond to a current discussion, select the discussion you would like to contribute to. After reading through the discussion and when you are ready to respond, select “Reply.”
Notification
To check your notifications, select “notifications” under the dropdown of your name. Alternatively, you can select the notifications icon on the left side of the screen.
To update your email notification preferences, go to “Account” and select “email preferences.” You have the option to manage which notifications you would like to receive for Activity Feed, Messages, Social Groups, and Connections.
To respond to a current discussion, select the discussion you would like to contribute to. After reading through the discussion and when you are ready to respond, select “Reply.”
The Migration Hub provides an opportunity for members considering an application to the Integrated Approaches to Human Migration/Mobility in an Era of Rapid Global Change CRA to highlight their skills and showcase publications, presentations, images, and form connections. The page has a built-in social network that allows Coordinators, Consortium Leads, Researchers, and Stakeholders to coordinate with each other, facilitate engagement and share opportunities.
The Migration Hub features a public and private interface. To access the private interface, you will need to be invited to the system and create an account.
After creating an account, users will be expected to begin populating their profile with a profile photo, cover photo, and other information upon logging into the network. To begin editing a profile, log in and go to the Migration Hub homepage. Under your name, select Profile and then Edit. Once you select Edit, you will be prompted to provide some basic details, such as your First Name, Last Name, and Nickname for tagging. You can also add social media network information, skills and other information.
Group creation are based on user roles. For members that have permission to create a group, go to “Groups and Projects” from the main Menu and select “Create a Group”. When creating a group, Migration members should select “Migration-Group” type from the Group Type drop down.
Migration Groups have a privacy levels. Public Groups will be available for all users to join. Private Users who have logged into the network can find Migration Groups located under the Migration Groups and Projects tab of the network in the top bar.
For internal discussions on the network, select Discussion Forums after logging into the hub.
The user has the option to subscribe to a series of ongoing conversations on the forums and contribute to these discussions. To subscribe and contribute to the discussion, click on the forum you would like to join, then select Subscribe. You can also Unsubscribe.

The Secretariat, Coordinators, and other Members can all submit content to be made publicly available. This proposed content will be forwarded to a public staging group and will be reviewed by the Coordinators. The Coordinators can forward the content to the Secretariat for review, make additional edits or return the proposed content.
The Group or Project creator will be in charge of managing content for the project profile, although they can transfer this responsibility to another member. All users can all propose changes or content to be added to the group in an email request to the Group creator. The Group creator can make additional edits and implement the proposed changes or reject the proposed content and send for resubmission.

The Ocean Sustainability Hub provides an opportunity for awardees from the CRA’s 13 funded projects to highlight their findings and showcase publications, presentations, images, and other outputs. The page has a built-in social network that allows Coordinators, Consortium Leads, Researchers, and Stakeholders to coordinate with each other, facilitate engagement beyond one project, and share opportunities. Also featured on the page are a calendar highlighting CRA-specific events, an interactive map, and a visualization showing the transdisciplinary nature of the projects.
